If you use our default option that comes with 5 TB (or 1 TB per month in Asia), you will not be charged extra for internet traffic as long as you don’t exceed the allotted amount. Please note, we do not limit traffic. If you use more than 5TB (or 1 TB per month in Asia), we charge $0.01 per GB. If you choose the “unmetered traffic” option, you will be charged extra for internet traffic if your incoming data (downloads) is more than 33% of your total traffic. In this case, you may be charged for the full amount of data you use. This is based on a 2-to-1 ratio of outgoing to incoming data (2 parts sent for every 1 part received).

By default, each monthly server includes 5 TB of data (traffic) per month. During the free trial period, the limit is 1 TB of data. This quota is the same for servers of all types. The exception to this is servers located in our data centers in Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo, and Singapore. The traffic included in monthly plans for servers at these locations is 1 TB per month.

You may choose to set your server to unmetered bandwidth. This option allows you to have unlimited traffic at a speed of up to 50 Mbps at no extra charge, as long as incoming traffic is up to 33% of your total traffic. Please note, this is not available during the free trial period and cannot start in the middle of a month.
